Back in Baltimore!

Hello, Hello from Baltimore -
Well, we have been here now for just over one week. - Matthew had all his pins removed last Monday - out of surgery around 5pm. Once he awoke from surgery he's was great. No pain, no troubles at all. Dr. Paley came to speak to me after the surgery to let me know that he did not put rods into Matthew's femurs and that we were to see Dr. Standard in 2 weeks. (Matthew had let it be known to the doctors that he didn't want rods and that we'd do whatever was needed to avoid them - so we have to stay at least for 2 weeks). When we see Dr. Standard on the 2nd of April, he may say we have to come again in another two weeks. - so at the moment, we are just waiting and waiting, and waiting some more!
Matthew's legs are in great shape, he can get over 90º bending both legs and they both seem quite straight too - he's taking calcium and vitamin D to help things along, and I have him doing some stretches now and then to try to limber him up.
